Every slab on record
Each slab record can include:
- material
- thickness
- size
- lot number
- photo
- location
- price
The material catalog also keeps producers, material types, thicknesses, suppliers and price categories organized.
Holds and allocations
Available, on hold or allocated
A slab can be marked Available, On Hold, Allocated, Gone or Return.
Slabs can be held or allocated to a customer, job or unit. A unit is one countertop piece or work area of a job.
That gives the office and shop floor the same answer about which material is free and which material already belongs to work in progress.
Purchasing
Purchasing and receiving are part of the yard
Create purchase orders for suppliers with extra charges, tax, supplier invoice references and delivery dates.
When material arrives, receiving the purchase order creates the slab records and prints their labels. Partial deliveries can also be received.
Slab returns and payments to suppliers are also tracked.
Keep remnants in the yard
Use remnant inventory software to keep rectangular and L-shaped remnants linked to the parent slab.
QR labels open the slab record
Print a QR label for the slab. Scanning the QR code opens its record so the material can be identified from the yard.
Track consignment slabs
Consignment material stays identifiable in the same slab inventory as owned material.
See the yard as a whole
Yard Summary shows stock, usage and value. Save a snapshot and compare the yard with that earlier point in time.
Use the same material in estimates and jobs
In-stock estimates can use material from the yard.
